Katie Fowler Monoc

Katie’s practice areas include civil litigation and land use. She graduated cum laude from Presbyterian College in 2002 and from the Charleston School of Law in 2009, where she served as Editor in Chief of the Charleston Law Review, Volume III. Katie has been published twice, including co-authoring an article with the Honorable Alexander M. Sanders, Jr., was named the 2009 recipient of the ALI ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award, and was one of four graduates inducted into the Forensics Club, an honor based on demonstrated leadership, professionalism, public service, and academic commitment. Prior to law school, Katie worked on various campaigns, in the South Carolina General Assembly, and at a consulting firm, as well as a non-profit, in Washington, D.C. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Heirs' Property Preservation and still enjoys participating in politics. Katie and her husband, Chris, live with their goldendoodle, Finn, in Charleston.
