Lindsay K. Smith-Yancey

Lindsay focuses her practice in the areas of healthcare law, medical malpractice defense, motor carrier defense, personal injury litigation, zoning litigation, and general trial and appellate law. Lindsay also stays involved in the Charleston community serving as a board member and local legal counsel for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston, and is a volunteer for the National Marrow Donor Program and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Lindsay has lectured and authored materials on trial preparation, and is a member of the Health Law Committee of the South Carolina Defense Trial Lawyer’s Association, the American Health Lawyer’s Association, and the Defense Research Institute.

Lindsay, a native of Columbia, South Carolina, and her husband Bart, who is the Associate Chief of Staff for the Office of the President and Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Medical University of South Carolina, split their time between downtown Charleston and Seabrook Island.
